Camp Cuevas and the Guardians of Baja

The Guardians of Baja

A Special Departure

Embark on a special departure filled with many favorite Baja adventures (hiking, birding, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming with sea lions, checking out sea turtles and more!) AND a special focus on the families and organizations that are leading the effort to protect their natural and cultural patrimony for the generations to come. On this journey you’ll be guided by the Rosas Family, rancheros of the Sierras La Laguna Mountains, and the Cuevas family, shark hunters and fishermen of the Sea of Cortez. Both families count their Baja heritage in centuries. An incredible and unique chance to get to know the people behind the causes, explore two spectacular areas in depth, and have a lot of fun!
