AND a special focus on the families and organizations that are leading the effort to protect their natural and cultural patrimony for the generations to come. On this journey you’ll be guided by the Rosas Family, rancheros of the Sierras La Laguna Mountains, and the Cuevas family, shark hunters and fishermen of the Sea of Cortez. Both families count their Baja heritage in centuries. An incredible and unique chance to get to know the people behind the causes, explore two spectacular areas in depth, and have a lot of fun!

This Baja exploration offers not only incredible adventures that are available only at this time of year, but also the chance to engage with the families and organizations that are leading the effort to protect Baja’s natural heritage and cultural patrimony for the generations to come. It’s a truly exceptional journey into the Sea of Cortez, led by some of its most passionate protectors! We will find hammerheads, swim with sea lions, night snorkel in bioluminescence and meet a large population of Eastern Pacific Hawksbill Turtles. Camp Cuevas is on a secluded beach on the breathtakingly beautiful Isla San Jose where we enjoy chef-prepared meals, and daily happy hour. A dreamy retreat into the luxury of nature – with some of its most passionate protectors.
